CNPD applies first fine for failure to nominate a data protection officer

CNPD applies a fine of 170 thousand euros and two reprimands to the Municipality of Setúbal regarding the processing of data on Ukrainian refugees. It was the first fine imposed by the CNPD for failing to nominate an EPD, according to paragraph 1 of article 37 of the GDPR.
