EU Commission outlines voluntary commitments to gradually eliminate the use of cookies

Euractiv reports that the European Commission has launched an initiative for the voluntary phaseout of third-party cookies. Draft pledges based on working group discussions on cookie alternatives and non-tracking advertising solutions were shared with industry participants who took part in meetings during April.
