EU Data Regulators Probe DeepSeek Over China Data Transfers

Chinese AI company DeepSeek is under investigation by several EU data protection authorities over potential GDPR breaches linked to personal data transfers to China. Italy, Belgium, Ireland, and Croatia have launched inquiries or issued warnings. EU-wide coordination might be discussed at the next EDPB meeting.
