Europe is 10 years behind in AI

In an interview with Lusa, the CEO of DefinedCrowd that integrates the North American working group for Artificial Intelligence (AI) reported that the main challenge of AI is related to the secure sharing of anonymized data between markets. In this context, at an international level there is a great demand for anonymization tools for sharing data between markets. The expert in Artificial Intelligence reports that Europe is "ten years behind" in this technology, noting that there is now "a political will", but the process is still slow. The fact that each country has its own data sharing laws is considered one of the main problems in Europe. The expert concludes: “Therefore, until these geographic barriers are removed, technology won't advance fast. Each one is on their side trying to do something individually instead of creating alliances, this will be very difficult to overcome, it will delay technology a lot”. In this sense, it proposes an idea of technological alliance between countries. It was also stated that the impact of the new technology will not be so much for the citizen, but for the technology sector. For more information:
