European Commission sued for violating European data protection rules

Euractiv reported that a German citizen brought a lawsuit against the European Commission. The Commission was alleged to illegally transferring data against the EU’s court of Justice decision “Schrems II” and lacking transparency on data processing. The group representing the plaintiff, said the case “will act as a clear sign that everyone must adhere to the data protection requirements”.
