Guides on children’s data protection rights published by Irish DPC

Four guides for parents on children’s data protection rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation were published by the Ireland Data Protection Commission. The basics of children’s data protection rights are outlined on the guide, as well as advice on how to protect children’s data. “The guides are meant to help parents understand their children's rights and to answer questions that can arise in typical situations where those rights apply”, said the DPC.
