Most of the deleted apps from the App Store didn’t have a privacy policy

Apple remains one of the safest companies in terms of technology. Apple's App Store ensures privacy and security for its users, ensuring that all apps are reviewed with human intervention before they become available online.

However, despite these efforts some apps were removed from the App Store for violating its terms (and despite having been initially approved). According to Pixalate's current “H1 2021 Delisted Mobile Apps Report”, more than 813,000 apps were eliminated from the App Store and Google Play Store in the first half of 2021. Of these applications, around 224,000 apps were eliminated from the App Store for lacking privacy policy. According to statistics, 89% were applications for children under 12, while 59% of them had no privacy policy. Nowadays, this is a fundamental requirement for any online service.
