New guidelines on safety measures issued by the Portuguese Data Protection Authority

On January 10, the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD) approved the Guideline 2023/1 on organisational and security measures for processing personal data for controllers and processors. The CNPD guidelines aims at the implementation by organisations of security measures in order to minimize the consequences for the rights of individuals facing cyber attacks.
