Statement of GDPR’s 5th anniversary

“Marking the five-year anniversary of the EU General Data Protection Regulation Members of the European Commission issued a statement. Vice President for Values and Transparency Věra Jourová and Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders called the GDPR "a decisive step in shaping the digital transition in the EU" that "strengthened and harmonised a fundamental right to data protection."
