Tesla employees reportedly shared videos captured by cameras on customers' cars

“Highly invasive videos and images recorded by customers’ car cameras” in an internal messaging system were circulated by former Tesla employees, according to a Reuters investigation. Nine former employees claimed “the recordings caught Tesla customers in embarrassing situations”. Tesla’s privacy notice stated that "camera recordings remain anonymous and are not linked to you or your vehicle”, but many employees said Tesla has a program that can locate where videos are taken.
