Twitter appoints acting data protection officer

Tech Crunch reports that Twitter appoints Renato Monteiro as its acting data protection officer. Twitter is required to have a DPO under the general EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). France’s data protection authority said the possible consequences are to be discussed with the DPC.
