Ukraine’s user privacy commited by Telegram’s founder Telegram’s co-founder, who is Russian-born, has told Ukrainian users that their data is safe. Pavel Durov said the following on a Telegram post: "I stand for our users no matter what. Their right to privacy is sacred - now more than ever.”. The Observer newspaper reported that this social media was Ukraine's most popular messaging app. Some experts have raised concerns about the security of users' data. Everything stored on Telegram’s cloud is securely encrypted and all of its data is protected, although only some of its features uses end-to-end encryption.
